1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the Floormate.lk website and services, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Services

Floormate.lk provides industrial, commercial, and residential flooring solutions including but not limited to:

  • Epoxy flooring systems
  • Polyurethane (PU) coatings
  • Self-leveling floors
  • Anti-static flooring
  • Decorative and specialized coatings
  • Site inspections and consultations

3. Quotations and Pricing

  • All quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated
  • Prices are subject to change based on material costs and project scope
  • Final pricing will be confirmed in writing before project commencement
  • Additional charges may apply for changes to the original scope of work

4. Payment Terms

  • Payment schedule will be outlined in the project contract
  • Typically: 50% advance payment, 40% upon completion, 10% after final inspection
  • Payments must be made within the agreed timeframe
  • Late payments may incur additional charges
  • We reserve the right to suspend work for non-payment

5. Project Timeline

  • Project timelines are estimates and may vary due to unforeseen circumstances
  • Delays caused by weather, site conditions, or client requests may extend the timeline
  • We will notify clients of any significant delays
  • Client must provide site access as per agreed schedule

6. Site Preparation

  • Client is responsible for ensuring site is ready for installation
  • This includes clearing the area and providing necessary utilities
  • Any additional preparation work will be charged separately
  • Site must meet minimum requirements for flooring installation

7. Warranty

Workmanship Warranty

We provide a warranty on workmanship for 2-5 years depending on the flooring system installed.

Material Warranty

Materials are covered by manufacturer warranties (typically 5-10 years).

Warranty Conditions

  • Warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use
  • Does not cover damage from misuse, accidents, or improper maintenance
  • Regular maintenance as per our guidelines is required
  • Warranty is non-transferable

8. Maintenance Requirements

To maintain warranty validity, clients must:

  • Follow provided maintenance guidelines
  • Use appropriate cleaning products
  • Avoid exposure to conditions beyond specified limits
  • Report any issues promptly

9. Limitation of Liability

Floormate.lk shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Loss of profits or business interruption
  • Damages exceeding the contract value
  • Issues arising from client-provided materials or specifications
  • Force majeure events beyond our control

10. Cancellation and Refunds

  • Cancellations must be made in writing
  • Cancellation before work commences: 10% cancellation fee
  • Cancellation after work has started: charges for work completed plus materials ordered
  • Refunds will be processed within 30 days

11. Intellectual Property

All content on the Floormate.lk website, including text, images, logos, and designs, is the property of Floormate.lk and protected by copyright laws. Unauthorized use is prohibited.

12. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved through:

  • Initial discussion and negotiation
  • Mediation if necessary
  • Legal proceedings in Sri Lankan courts as a last resort

13. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. Any legal action must be brought in the courts of Sri Lanka.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of modified terms.
